The man did not speak as he knifed the woman three times before running away yesterday evening.
The woman, 36, has been taken to hospital. Her child was not injured.

I’ll never, ever understand how a person can enjoy plunging a knife into another person, let alone an innocent stranger with a young child. The only thing i can wonder is that it might be an initiation thing to join a gang. But there are no excuses, and dangerous people like this should be locked up for a very long time.
