Despite assurances to MPs at a recent Select Committee by the security service that our personal data was safe in their hands, it appears that former Mi6 Spy Gareth Williams did look up information about people ‘without permission’ and he died in ‘mysterious circumstances’ maybe as a result.  I spose he could have been protecting himself by having ‘dirt’ on others but got found out before he could put get the info to a ‘safe house’.   Better not take that Mi5/6 Job offer just in case.
