Vegetable Harvest
There’s growing the stuff and then there is harvesting it. This season has been particularly bountiful but the harvesting side of things has been somewhat tardy. What with fighting off greedy developers, attending hastily convened WBC allotment consultation events regarding that unnecessary landscaping, having a boisterous knees up at The Oxhey Chilli and Beer Fest and the FTAG Fundraiser, the tomatoes have been left rotting on the vine. Now the gourds are monsters but the blackberries have turned to seed. Bind weed flourishes on however. Time to put in those raspberries. Then ….. Along come those Government Kill Joys with
