That Ole 22 July Sure Has The World In It’s Spell

Huff Puff Huff Puff Huff Puff……. Yes what is it this time? ‘Pictures of the Day’

‘Lightning strike hits Manchester Piccadilly shuting down the entire station.’  Erm spelling Huff

Mexican DINOSAUR-570

Mexican Dinosaur- National Institute of History and Anthropology.

Yea OK so that’s not a bad lightning image I guess.  I like the one from Poole though.

What a Mexican Monster….. and that’s just the tail.

How big was that baby again doctor?  8lb 6oz. Right.

And [the second beast] doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast , which had the wound by a sword, and did live (Revelation 13:13-14).’

‘Titan Arum’ or Corpse Flower blooms in Washington.

Cor what a stink!

‘The Titan Arum plant (Amorphophallus titanum), also known as the corpse flower or stinky plant, is seen in full bloom at the United States Botanic Garden Conservatory July 22, 2013 in Washington, DC.’  Phallic or what.

‘Titan arum’s inflorescence can reach over 3 metres (10 ft) in height.’  ‘The corm (A corm consists of one or more internodes with at least one growing point) is the largest known, typically weighing around 50 kilograms (110 lb).[2] When a specimen at the Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew Gardens, was repotted after its dormant period, the weight was recorded as 91 kilograms (200 lb)‘

Boris and Gove at Scott’s Mayfair. Look out Cameo something is hatching at Con Headquarters.

‘Something’s in the air….. Pete Townsend’s  Thunderclap Newman 1969.’

‘Boris Johnson, cycling helmet balanced precariously on his head, and Michael Gove, laughing uproariously, were photographed leaving the exclusive Scott’s restaurant in Mayfair on evening of Monday 22 July 2013.’  It was Boris’s joke about that ‘black rubbery thing’ of Osborne’s that did it.

One might ruminate on why there’s a ‘helmet on a head with lightning about to strike…. Hmmm…..Heh NLAT What’s up.  Hi Larrene where’s Larry this morning?

Madrid!  Will he never stop?  Go Larry.

Yes The Revolution’s Here all right…..

The Aftermath was very traumatic for some however…. ‘For almost three weeks the UK has basked in glorious sunshine during the longest heatwave for seven years.

Fire from Lightning

Fire fron lightning Wakefield West Yorkshire.

Violent thunderstorms brought an abrupt end to UK’s heatwave that saw temperatures hit 33.5C on Monday.

‘Firefighters were called to a house in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, at about 6.55am, after it was hit by a bolt of lightning.’  Royal birth under way at about this time.

‘Home owner Arleen Gregg (right), 53, said: ‘The whole house shook at the same time as a huge bang. We’ve lost everything’‘

I guess we had to ‘pay the price’ as they say.  Two women found dead in a house in Wath Upon Dearne South Yorkshire on 23 July 2013.  ‘Anyone with information should phone South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1035 of Monday, 22 July’.
