GovWatch: FTAG in Watford are well used to such cavalier behaviour from FibDem Mayor Dorothy Thornhill who called a recent Royal Court decision that went against her ‘a maverick decision’. It seems to be their way or NO way with the FibDems. Perhaps Cleggosvitch’s mendacity which has destroyed their street cred got the better of him at last.
The latest on the Farm Terrace Allotments Saga is that WBC wrote to the allotmenteers suggesting that the two sides meet for ‘discussions’. During those ‘discussions’ WBC asked FTAG if there was a ‘submission’ they could see. FTAG rightly replied that they came to the meeting to find out if WBC was willing to compromise at all and what was the point of having a ‘submission’ when WBC has always said they want the allotments for 66 executive homes and a car park? True to form WBC have now written to FTAG to say they are going to take the allotments for 66 executive homes and a car park????? Why call a meeting then?
How much of rate payers’ money has Watford’s FibDem Mayor Dorothy Thornhill wasted on Court Fees so far over her dispute with FTAG as the matter has been lost twice already.
