FORMER Tory MP Zac Goldsmith who lost his seat at the general election will be elevated to the House of Lords and will stay as a Minister of State.
Downing Street has confirmed Mr Goldsmith will stay on as Minister for Environment and International development and be given a peerage for his efforts.
