Qantas is the safest airline in the world for 2019, according to newly released rankings.
The Australian flag carrier was awarded the top spot by Airlineratings.com, which looked at a range of factors when determining the safest airlines, including audits from aviation’s governing and industry bodies, crash and serious incident records, and fleet age.
Airlines including British Airways, Emirates and Qatar were ranked among the world’s 20 safest airlines, while Wizz and Flybe were ranked among the world’s safest low-cost airlines.

The name Champion de Crespigny is legendary in Australia in business (Robert Champion de Crespigny) and now this other de Crespigny. They must be related. Putting that to one side, one can only wonder and be awestruck by such professionalism in the face of the greatest adversity one can face in such circumstances/ a life or death situation.
What training, what personal and professional discipline and what character building must have gone into to those pilots and aircrew to have been able to command and surmount that situation with QF 2.
Now the question we must ask is why is the rest of the nation crumbling beginning with parliament and the Australian workforce? Do these pilots really come from Australia or are they martians living amongst us posing as Aussies?
