Special constables’ chief says officers should be armed with Tasers because they ‘face the same dangers’ as regular police

GovWatch: These things are capable of dreadful damage and should not be in the hands of regular police officers let alone untrained ‘special constables.’ Members of the public want the traditional UK Police Officer not ‘Thugs R Us.’
