A 13-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after he was set upon by a gang of thugs wielding a machete, box cutter and hammer. The schoolboy was knifed four times – in his face, arm and chest.

The schoolboy was knifed four times – in his face, arm and chest – as he ‘fought for his life’ during the ‘brutal’ attack in Newsham Park in the Tuebrook area of Liverpool last Friday night.

‘A young girl saved his life on Friday – she was only 14. She put pressure on the wounds and took his top off and I’d like to say a big thank you to the hospital staff, the ambulance crew and police.

Seems very brutal for just a random attack – there’s a lot more to this story.

GW: Yes Tony there is a lot more to this than meets the eye.  The fact that there was not one incident of bad behaviour or even discourtesy in Sidmouth the whole week – even though the town was heaving & I saw no police – says it all really.

GW: The van was pulled over for not having proper insurance. The driver must have had something major to hide from the cops if he lashed out in this fashion for such a  minor offence. Thankfully he is now under arrest. Good. One less crim to be worrying about.
