“Their new Independent Party is funded by a private company set up by Shuker and registered in the tax haven of Panama to keep its Israeli donors payments private.
Over at the Independent it’s become pretty clear Chukka Umunna is the protege of … John Rentoul, the name of their new party being a dead giveaway, spies have no imagination.
The same donors have been funding the Indy’s character assassination of Corbyn for the last two years. Our country’s never been under the cosh of foreign fascists like this before, it’s depressing to watch this happen to the country that once resisted the Nazis so bravely.

I understand the edit but it’s important to understand how political figures are controlled, and if anyone stands out as a compromised tool of the security services it’s Umunna.
“Support from the State of Israel, which supports both Conservative and Labour ‘Friends of Israel’, of which Luciana [Berger] was chair, is possible and I would not condemn those who suggest it, especially when the group’s financial backers are not being revealed.
“It’s important for democracy to know the financial backers for any political group or policy.”

The new Independent party is a private company registered by Shuker and is incorporated. By definition it means the donors and financial arrangements are beyond public scrutiny.
Furthermore, their tawdry little party and fake, well planned split from Labour has been planned for some considerable time. The Website domain was registered in 2015, nearly 4 years ago. The new party (it appears) is trading under a company called Gemini A Ltd.
What a surprise!

‘Progress’ is a political organisation founded in 1996 to support the New Labour leadership of Tony Blair. Peter Mandelson is a member of the organisation’s Strategy Board and Alan Milburn is the Honorary President.
“In February 2019, a group of MPs left the Labour Party and founded The Independent Group. All seven founding members of this group were members of Progress and regularly contributed to the work of the organisation.”
