Canada: 8 Year Old Drag Queen Lactatia (Nemis Quinn Melancon-Golden) performs in adult Drag Queen shows with his parents full support. Is this more child sexual exploitation to further normalize pedophilia? Heart Progress, a pedophile advocacy group latched onto his quote in a meme they posted on their 3rd, now deleted, Google+ profile “I think that anyone can do what they want in life. If you want to be a Drag Queen and your parents don’t let you, then you need new parents”. https://imgur.com/gallery/X4WPA

David Kennerly I think you are missing the point here. What gender he relates to is not the issue. He is only 8, a child. Where are the boundaries? He is being sexualized. Let him make this decision when he his older, more mature. If he still wants to be a Drag Queen fine. I don’t care. But I care about children being a part of a very adult world. A world that many are not happy in, and have experienced the dark side of this lifestyle. And I don’t think this is just a conservative view. It’s a liberal, a parents, a children’s advocate view, and many more. It’s about making sure children are safe, to have a childhood without being preyed upon. So no matter your argument, you will never be able to rationalize this in my mind. Does not make me a bigot, racist, homophobic or someone trying to control others lives.

David Kennerly Dude, I am concerned that your sentiments may actually be considered a valid position one day. I can almost see the future if this kind of mentality takes hold of a small percent of society. I know to humor small children when they express sexuality before puberty can cause more harm on our already suffering economy. I know this urging of kids into acting sexually explicit is one way many mental health detriments are increasing, and sadness is increasing exponentially.

GW: That child has Tats at 8 years old. What are the parents thinking? And the ”performance” is hardly ”a class act” either.
