”A couple who bought a crumbling French Château have revealed their progress in restoring the 94 bedroom property, which is more than 300 years old.
Karina and Craig Waters bought Château de Gudanes in November 2013 after wanting to make their dream of owning a French farmhouse a reality.
The pair, from Perth, Australia, have spent the past four years renovating the level one historical monument – which dates from the reign of King Louis XV and sits in Ariège, in the Occitanie region of France.
But restoring and attaining the Château, which was built between 1741 and 1750, has been a lengthy and involved process.”
