A new £28 million community hospital is half-empty while nearby hospitals struggle with clogged-up A&Es and bed shortages.

Large parts of Finchley Memorial Hospital, north London, including an 18-bed ward and GP surgery, are still unused four years after it opened.
The hospital is owned by a company in a collaboration between the NHS and the private sector, the Sunday People reports .
