Richard Bacon BBC 5 Live 9 January 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03nsv3f

Bacon asked about all the fines that were paid by Banksters for various bits of mal-practice.  He also asked about all the financial chaos caused for ordinary folk by Bankster banditry.  It seems O’Neill might be trying to ‘firefight’ for the City of London which is feeling fragile from AM attacks on the Internet.  O’Neill talked about the financial sector’s contribution to the economy.  ‘Flog’ and ‘dead horse’ sprang to mind really.

O’Neill in The Telegraph in 2011.

“Any thoughts about persistent safe havens (other than perhaps cash under your mattress) are dangerous,” warns Jim O’Neill, Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.”
