About That Jabiru – UL450 2 seater

The British press are about as good as their Aussie counterparts when it comes to aviation reporting !.. The aircraft was a Jabiru UL450 , a 2 seat model with a MTOW of 450kg ( hence the 450 designation ) and not a 4 seat model with a completely different airframe as in the photo , which incidentally is Canadian registered .. The aircraft was registered as a microlight with the BMAA and was G-SIMP … I know a few Jabiru owners in the UK , particularly in my old area around Birmingham , but not this aircraft .. RIP to the deceased and condolences to the bereaved ..
